Day 01: Singapore - Taipei Tamsui Old Street / Fisherman Wharf / Xi men Ting (MEAL ON BOARD)
Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport. Your vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to Taipei, capital city of Taiwan. Upon arrival at Tao Yuan Internation Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide, before proceeding to Tamsui Old St, a great place for fresh seafood. Next visit Fisher Wharf where the popular Taiwanese drama "Meteor Garden" was filmed. Accommodation: 4* Taipei Riverview or similiar
Day 02: Taipei/ Yehliu/ Chiufen/ Nanfanau/ Nantien Temple/ Suhua National Road/ Hualien (BREAKFAST/DINNER)
After breakfast, proceed to Yehliu. Be amazed by the array of rock formation, artistically sculpted by erosion and other forces of Mother Natural. Here, you can be very sure to see the most spectacular and famous "Queen's Head" Rock, together with "Fairy Shoes", and "Candlestick" Rock. Next, we will proceed to Chuifren, the filming site of 'City if Sadness". The traditional way of life that still exists, reminiscent with the aura of an old mining town. Don't miss the chance to try some famous local dish such as Taro and Sweet Popato Ball etc. *Lunch on own expense at Chuifen. After filling up your stomach, visit Nantien Temple. Beside being the landmark of Nafanau, it is also the centre for the traditional religion of the locals. Accommodation:5* Hualien Parkview Hotel or similiar
Day 03: Hualien/ Taroko Gorge (Taroko Park Administrative Office/ Taroko Memorial Arch Building/ Changchun Temple)/ Seven Stars Lake/ Linzi & Tea Centre/ Chihpen Hot spring (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
*Taroko Gorge: Torrents of river waters which have cut through the marble and granite over the years, creating a beautiful, narrow ravine with waterfalls and misty mountain top. Subtropical forests surround the gorge, and there are several notable scenic spots to admire. *Taroko Memorial Arch Building: Architecturally designed in ancient Chinese style. *Changchun temple:Situated on the valley, it offers a spectacular view. *Seven Stars lake: Seven Stars Lake is actually a sea. Unlike the usual seaside, the beach area does not have sands but are made out of all kind of stones. You may rest on this stone beach while enjoying the scenery. *Chihpen Hot Spring: Revitalise your body and soul with a dip at the rustic yet refined hot spring. *(First bath 3-5 minutes, and never go in more than 15 minutes each time.) Day 04: Chihpen/ Kaohsiung/ Fo Guang Shan/ Spring & Autumn Pavilions/ Hsuan Tien Shangti Temple/ Love River Cruise/ Dream Shopping Mall (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, proceed to Fo Guang Shan and Spring * Autumn Pavilions. Fo Guang Shan is the center of Buddism in Southern Taiwan. Hundreds of glided Bhudda images stand in line, provoding one of the marvelous attractions of the monastery. At Sping & Autumn Pavilions, be awed by the gigantic statues of Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, & Hsuan Tien Shangti Temple. The current favourite haunt for young couples is the Love River. You will find yourselves attracted to the romantic ambiences of the cafes, food stores, and music along the river. Board the river cruise and enjoy the beautiful Kaohsiung scenery. In the evening, it's a shoppers' delight at Dream Shopping Mall, the largest shopping centre in Asia. Apart from exquisite shopping, you can enjoy open-air performances. It's a shopping experience similiar to New Yorks's Fifth Avenue. You can also go on the Hello Kitty Ferris Wheel (at own expense). Accommodation: 5* Kaohsiung Kingdom Hotel or similar.
Day 05: Kaohsiung/ Sun Moon Lake/ Wen Wu Temple/ Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village/ Taichung/ Fong Jia Night Market (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
In the morning, visit the largest lake in Taiwan - Sun Moon Lake. The name is derived from the Guang Hua Island that sits in the middle of the lake. The lake has a Northern part that looks like a sun, and a southern part that looks like a moon. The tranquil lakes bounce light off its water, offering you peotic and prcturesque secnery all year round. *Wen Wu Temple. This is the temple to enshrine and worship Confucius, Guan Gong and Yue Fei. Next, visit the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. Sited adjacent to the Sun Moon Lake, and spread over an expanse of some 62 hectared land, this park offers a variety of activities for sightseeing, recreation, vacation, cultural exchanges and educational purposes. It is divided into four sections: the first is for sightseeing - where gardens, palace & European style castles rein the area; the second section consists of special effects of laser light, sounds and computer graphics at the musical fountain; the third section is the Future World Area, which houses s apce theater and other fun rides such as Galaxy Ride and Space Mountain etc; the fourth section is the Historic Area where traditional dwelling models of the Yamei, Ah Mei, Lukai, Peinan, Paoshia, Paiwan, Yen, Puwan, Tayathe aboriginal tribes are displayed. There are also exhibits featuring aboriginal architectual sty;es and the tribal handicraft. Outside the park, you can try your luck sifting for gold dust at a newly opened gold mine, or enjoy cultural dances, performances & song presentations at different Theaters. In the evening, visit Fong Jia Night Market. This is the night market which is located near the Feng Chia University. The low-priced clothes are not the only attractive part of the market, the wide range of local food around is also a plus point. Accommodation: 5* Taichung National Hotel or similar
Day 06: Taichung/ Taipei/ National Palace Museum/ Handicraft Center/ Yang Ming Shan National Park/ 101 Shopping Mall/ Shihlin Night Market (BREAKFAST/LUNCH) After breakfast, return to Taipei to visit National Palace Museum, with the world's largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures, spanning nearly 5,000 years into Chinese history. Next, proceed to Yangmingshan National Park. Yangming Lake, Lotus Pool and the Flower Clock are the favourite spots in this National Park. It is one of the best places for admiring the beauty of flower because of the blooming season. Being in close proximity to Taipei City, the park attracts large number of visitor every year. Next visit 101 Shopping Mall, one of the tallest building in Asia. In the evening, visit Shuhlin Night Market, a great place to hunt for local handicrafts, clothes, toys, tasty local snack and souvenirs. Accommodation: 4* Taipei Riverview or similar
Day 07: Taipei - Singapore (BREAKFAST)
